Historic window restoration is a rare skill. Very few people in this country know how to do it well, and demand for the ones who do keeps growing. We train from the ground up, teaching techniques most contractors have never learned.

If you're detail-oriented and want to build a real craft, we want to hear from you. No restoration experience required. Attitude and work ethic matter more.

We're based in Austin, TX and serve homeowners from Georgetown to San Antonio. Most of your time will be spent on job sites in Central Texas, with some shop work in our restoration facility.

What We Offer

Working at Barron Restorations

Full Training Provided

No prior restoration experience required. We teach you everything: glazing, paint prep, sash cord replacement, rust treatment. Skills very few people in the trades still have.

Meaningful Work

Every home you work on has a history. The windows you restore will outlast all of us, and you'll know which ones were yours.

Room to Grow

Demand for this work keeps climbing, and we need people who can take on more responsibility as their skills build. The path is there if you want it.

Small Team Culture

We're a small crew that works hard and respects each other's craft. You'll learn directly from experienced restorers, not from a training video.

Field-Based Work

You'll spend most days on site in Austin's historic neighborhoods rather than in a warehouse or office. No two houses ask for the same work.

Austin Based

We're based in Austin and work from Georgetown to San Antonio. Give it a year and you'll know Central Texas's historic neighborhoods street by street.
